Coloring In The Stained Glass

By Wayne D Koenig · Art by Wayne D Koenig

In this competitive coloring game, players are tasked with planning the color scheme for the last window in the town cathedral, and will be evaluated by the king based on set criteria. Through drafting pencils from the center of the table, players will color in their window, hoping that they will be the first to finish certain areas. Grab some colored pencils from your drawer as well as some friends (or play by yourself), and see how well you can do in this unique take on a Roll and Write game. On a turn player(s) will count the remaining colored pencils in the middle of the table, this is the number of adjacent spaces the player will be allowed to color in. The color they draft is the color they can use with one exception, they can't add to a color already on the window. When the last pencil is drafted place all pencils back in the center and start again. Players get certain amounts of points for completing certain areas first and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins!
