Board Game
Nordwind 1945
By Wojciech Zalewski
Game covers operation Norwind, the last major German offensive operation at the western front during World War 2. The goal of the offensive was to break through the lines of the U.S. Seventh Army and French 1st Army in the Upper Vosges mountains and the Alsatian Plain, and destroy them, as well as the seizure of Strasbourg. If it'd happen, Germans planned to continue their attack on the rear of the American 3rd Army. Additional scenarios pictures French attack on Colmar and American counterattack after the failure of the German offensive. Game uses WB-95 system, regiment-scale, with American, French and German (regular and SS) units.
