Wizna 1939

"Wizna 1939" covers the battle of Wizna fought during the Second World War Polish campaign between Polish garrison of the Wizna and German 10th Armored Division at 8-9 september 1939. Despite the desperate odds, Poles managaed to stop Germans for almost three days, thanks to the muddy terrain and bunkers. Battle is often called "Polish Thermopylae". A Sabaton wrote a song about this battle titled "40:1". Wizna 1939 contains three scenarios: two historical ones and one hypothetical that allows Polish player to use more units. Game uses "B-35" battalion/company scale system. Wizna 1939 was published in the 42 issue of "Taktyka i Strategia", a Polish wargaming magazine.
