Business: Il gioco del potere

First of "Il Bel Paese", a collection of monthly issues appearing in Italian newspaperkiosks from late 1985. Each is a boardgame inspired by news. "Business - Il gioco del potere" ("Business- The game of Power") depicts on its map a square grid featuring the most important public and private companies. The size in squares is larger for the most influential ones. Players put counters of their colors to control squares and when they circle a whole area, as in a kind of Go, they gain total control of it taking away all the opponents' counters. Event cards influence the deployement. Duels are done with green and red cards in a kind of "prisoner's dilemma".
