Objective: Atlanta – A Game of the Civil War Campaign for Atlanta
By Patrick C. Price
"Objective: Atlanta is a strategic simulation or 'wargame' that recreates one of the classic strategic campaigns of the American Civil War. In the actual campaign, the Union took Atlanta before the 1864 Presidential election to help Lincoln become re-elected. The scope of the game is such that the most important factors present in the actual campaign are recreated in the game, but the side that will ultimately win depends on the players involved."
