Pirate Heroes

Pirate Captains race around the world, fight monsters and hire crew members to become famous! In Pirate Heroes, you will take turns exploring the world by placing tiles depicting the Sea and multiple islands. You will encounter various monsters and enter different locations like Skull Island or a Dark Tower. As they explore, they will collect Gold which will let them hire people at the Tavern - Crew members with special abilities and Victory Points. Building an awesome crew for your ship will get you closer to Victory, but might make your opponent jealous and make him go for the Magic cards to slow you down or speed him up! Teleports, storms, theft and many more mischievous cards will be played from Daggers and Bolts, gained during combat. Combat is done using 5 dice, à la Poker Dice. Weak monsters will require a weak hand (like a pair), but epic monsters like the Kraken might require a Five of a Kind! Maybe you can find someone at the Tavern to help you out with that! As soon as a player reaches a certain number of Victory Points, he just needs to head back to Pirate City, the starting tiles, to win the game!
