Timelag
By Mike Vitale · Art by James Rosinus, Mike Vitale
Timelag is a strategic science fiction game of combat across the reaches of outer space where Einsteinian time dilation directly effects the flow of play in the game. As the years wear on, the warring civilizations reach higher technological levels. Subsequently, they produce ships which are better than the ships sent out previously. Of course, we are speaking of time relative to each player's home base. The ships themselves will have hardly aged at all relative to their Home Base. The concept presents interesting situations since one never knows for certain the 'age' of his opponent's ships.
