Board Game
Phylo
By David Ng
In Phylo you build a biodiverse habitat using real species found in nature. Build a habitat that is in dynamic balance between all the diverse elements. Use natural disasters to alter the balance of nature and change the playing field to favor your species over your opponent. This is an open source game based around the finding that most kids can identify more Pokemon species than real animals. Phylo introduces kids to real species and the way they interact in the real world. The core rules support both a simplified version and more advanced rules options for older students or adults.
