Power Play
By Brian Train
The coup d'etat is generally a much less bloody way of seizing power than it's distant cousin, the popular revolution. Historically in the Third World, coups have changed more governments than elections since World War 2. Power Play is a card and counter game for 2 players. The game models some aspects of the planning and execution of a coup. As such the game bears no relation to to any single historical event and many aspects of reality have been abstracted for game play.
