Empire: The Macedonian Punic Wars, 350-150BC
By Philip Sabin · Art by David Edwards, Philip Sabin
A simple strategic level game for 1-4 players, simulating the struggle for dominance between Carthaginians, Romans, Macedonians and Persians/Parthians. It can be played as it is with very simple combat rules, or individual abttles could be played with miniature figures using your preferred rule set. The impact of Alexander, Hannibal and Scipio is emphasised. This game was the Society of Ancients' early membership incentive game for 2009 and came with their magazine Slingshot in August 09, but is also available separately.
