'Verdun' is an operational wargame of the German attack on Verdun during the World War One. The game includes special rules for Demoralization, German flamethrower units, French fanaticism and Phosgene gas attacks. He would attack VERDUN, the site of Charlemagne's grave, a place France would defend to the last man. Planning to crash through the formidable French defuses with the heaviest concentration of artillery in the history of warfare, he would threaten, or even seize the city and then let the French bleed to death in a series of suicidal counter-attacks.
