Board Game

Up Down

Players compete to be the last player remaining by playing numbered cards in ascending order. At the beginning of the game, each player receives five cards and a draw pile is placed in the center of the table. The first player may play any numbered card from their hand, then draws a replacement card. On subsequent turns, players must play a card with a higher number than the previously played card. However, if a card shares the same ones digit as the previous card, a smaller number may also be played. For example, after 51, a player may play 97 or 11. If a player cannot play a card, they are eliminated from the round. The last remaining player wins the round. Three special arrow cards add variety to the game. Pass transfers the turn to the next player, Reverse changes the direction of play, and Shot allows a player to choose who takes the next turn. The game also includes an optional point-scoring mode in which players collect chips over multiple rounds. The player with the most chips at the end of the game wins.
