Sunward

In Sunward, two rival invasive plant species compete for control of the same garden. On your turn, you either place a small plant tile to gather water or spend water to place a larger polyomino-shaped plant tile. As the board fills, players try to block expansion routes, surround opposing plant groups, and remove rival growth from the garden. The game ends when a player cannot make a legal move or both players pass. Players score based on the plant tiles they have remaining on the board & areas they have under their control. —description from the publisher
