The Bad Karmas and The Curse of the Zodiac: The New World Hero Expansion

These four victorian heroes are alternative playable character for The Bad Karmas game series, that can be used in place of the four main heroes or freely mixed with them and the other alternative set heroes. This Heroes Set include: The Musician The Surgeon El Pistolero The “Seamstress” New World Heroes The story of The Bad Karmas spans the past, present and future. Our heroes are reborn generation after generation, throughout the cycles of history, to protect the world from the unstoppable curse of the Zodiacs. The New World, land of opportunity. Driven by greed and power, a hapless businessman signs the wrong deal with destiny and unwittingly summons twelve astral travelers, the fearsome Zodiacs. Four reborn spirits of great warriors must recover their past and fight once more, before it is too late. After “the incident” happened, heroes of distant universes gather in our world to join the fight against the Zodiacs, bringing with them their special skills and weapons. The Musician A talented violinist who inspires allies and disturbs enemies with his music. Apart from cheering the crowd, he can use the Crescendo action to increase the positive effects on himself and his allies. He is the only character capable of taking advantage of the Zodiac’s Armored side, inflicting negative conditions or giving opportunities to his allies when striking it. The Surgeon A field medic with melee combat skills that hits hard with her saw and provides special effects with her experimental syringe crossbow. Whenever she takes damage in any way (even by herself) she gains a condition called Eureka! with a value equal to the damage received. Every time a certain value is reached, she has an epiphany: three powerful cards appear in her mind and the player can choose one to add to her pool. El Pistolero A gunslinger from the south with high mobility that deals a lot of damage in close to mid range. His main feature is called Combo: this effect has always a requirement to be fulfilled, like “You must be behind the Zodiac” or “You must be in melee with the Zodiac”. Every time it’s fulfilled, the damage of all his attacks is permanently increased. The “Seamstress” She is a deadly spy, undercover as a tailor. Under her elegant dress she hides a lot of sneaky tricks. In the battlefield, she uses the weaknesses of her target to deal additional damage and to increase the value of already inflicted conditions. She normally works alone, in fact most of her gadgets help her to stay alive and easily leave close combat in case of necessity. —description from the publisher
