Playissimo

Playissimo is a simulation of a soccer game. The board is placed lengthwise between the participants and each player takes eleven tokens of the same colour and places them on his half of the playing board similar to a line-up of soccer players. The starting player receives the ball and puts it on his token in the middle of his center-line. Each player can move up to 4 squares - either with one token or with several tokens. He is not allowed to change the direction during a movement of one tokenn. Also, the ball can be "kicked" from one token to another token resp. a free spot on the board. This is a free action and the player can do it as many times as he wants during his turn. Kicking the ball means moving the ball up to 2 squares in one direction. The ball cannot be kicked over a token of the adjacent player. Both players have a goal keeper who is moved in the same way as the other tokens, except for the fact that it may only move within the goal area and whenever it manages to get the ball, it can kick it to any other square on the board. A goal is scored, whenever a token with the ball on top of it moves across the goal line or the ball is kicked across the goal line. The winner is the player who manages to score 2 goals first.
