Wake Up, Sheeple!

A card-based party game where you find out which of your friends “does their own research”. Each round two cards are chosen from the "Headlines" deck and read out loud by the "free thinker". Players decide their "truth" by voting whether the headlines are related by a "conspiracy" (something clandestine), through "capitalism" (something normal), or if it is just a "coincidence" (no connection). Players who agree with the "free thinker" are "sheep". Those who disagree are "radicals". End the round as a radical, and you'll have to take a point. Or, go all or nothing and try to convince your fellow players to accept your "truth" over the free thinker's. Whoever has the least amount of points at the end of a standard game wins. There are also drinking and elimination rules. Players are encouraged to play as seriously or as ironically as they wish. The game works best when players remember that there are no right or wrong answers, while having fun with the social dynamics that emerge. The “truth” is whatever the sheep think it is.
