Board Game
Krakel-Spektakel
By Die 7 Bazis
Krakel-Spektakel is a standalone game similar to and compatible with Krakel-Orakel and its expansions. Like in Krakel-Orakel, each player draws a card with a word on it and scribbles it on a board with seemingly random lines. No player may draw anywhere but on the lines. Afterwards, all players' cards are shuffled in with an equal number of cards from the deck, then flipped open. Players then take turn flipping over one of the cards which they think nobody drew. After everyone took their turn, the players played a perfect round if no cards are left which nobody drew. Otherwise, the group gets a negative point for each error. If after 4 rounds, the group did not receive more points than the number of players, they win. In Krakel-Spektakel, a spinner is added. Before each round, someone spins it. The result shows which of 6 variants is played for this specific round. Variants include drawing only on a side with geometrically similar lines, having to guess before seeing all cards, having to guess before seeing all drawings, keeping all your lines connected, not disclosing whether you drew the harder or the easier word, and using a timer which runs for a random time between 40 and 90 seconds. Krakel-Spektakel also contains 250 new word cards with 500 new words.
