Accession

Accession is a political strategy game about kingship, betrayal and alliances. Inspired by off-kilter style games with political tension and depth, players are the kingdom’s House correspondents with different types of grand Schemes to pursue in order to ensure dominance. Will you ally with The Heretic's influence or will you ensure that the next King is a Royal Blood? Players will also build their tableau of cards with fiefs, cities and other cards that influence the political tides of the kingdom. Players can win by completing the open Schemes or abdicating their current alliance with a House to pursue a winning Scheme. —description from the designer
