By ハイライフ (high-life)

Leiden 1637: The End of Tulip Mania (ライデン1637 -チューリップマニアの終焉-) is a speculative trading game in which players take on the role of tulip merchants. Players exchange bulbs in the market and plant them in their fields, aiming to become the wealthiest merchant. Each card consists of one color and one type of icon, representing a specific tulip variety. On each turn, players perform the following actions: Exchange cards from their hand with cards in the market Place the exchanged cards into their field Refill their hand When placing a tulip card, it must be placed adjacent to an existing card. In addition, players may create up to two rows at a time. When a row is completed, that player immediately takes an extra turn. The game ends when a player completes a 4×3 field in a 4-player game, or a 4×4 field in a 2–3 player game. At the end of the game, players build windmills and collectively determine the value of each color. Final scoring is based on the following three categories: The colors that make up each completed row Majority bonuses for the five different icon types The value of each color multiplied by the number of matching cards planted in your field The player with the most victory points wins. —description from the designer
