Metabaloids is a tactical trading card game where players command biologically inspired creatures in a chaotic battle for survival. Each player builds a deck using a cost-based system and deploys creatures into structured battlefield formations. The game features both a Core Tactical Mode with a grid-based play area and a Fast Multiplayer Mode designed for quicker sessions. Players must manage resources, position cards strategically, and activate abilities at key moments to gain the advantage in combat. During battles, players combine attack and defense values across their formations while drawing cards to modify outcomes, creating dynamic and unpredictable engagements.
