Terravista

By Eilif Svensson, Åsmund Svensson · Art by Sylvain Leroy

Terravista is a fast and accessible roll-and-write game for 1–6 players, where every line you draw shapes your path to victory. Designed by Eilif Svensson (Trails of Tucana) and Åsmund Svensson, it combines simple rules with rewarding route-building decisions. Each player receives an asymmetric map and sets out to build roads connecting olives, oranges, and strawberries to their markets, while also linking matching market pairs for additional progress. With virtually no setup time, the game begins in seconds but offers meaningful choices from the very first roll. Each round, two dice determine which terrain types can be connected, and all players simultaneously draw a road between adjacent spaces on their own map. Completing connections advances players along shared tracks, unlocking bonus spaces that can trigger satisfying chain reactions of additional roads. The asymmetric maps and the uneven distribution of terrain combinations on the dice create a subtle puzzle: some connections are easier to complete than others, rewarding players who plan ahead and adapt their routes as the game unfolds. The first player to complete three connections on all four tracks wins the game. Terravista includes 12 unique maps across 6 double-sided boards, special dice, dry-erase markers, and multiple game modes, including solo play, point-based scoring, and a tournament variant. —description from the publisher
