Pueblos: México is a vibrant journey through the heart of Mexico, where you and your friends become travelers discovering the soul of its most enchanting towns. From cobblestone streets to bustling markets, you'll collect souvenirs, snap unforgettable photos, and earn anecdote cards that tell the story of your trip. On your turn, you'll take two trips across the shared map. Each move lets you place a new traveler or guide an existing one to a new location. Upon arrival, you collect a souvenir—a hand-painted ceramic, a colorful textile, or a treasured snapshot. When a town's souvenirs run out, claim it as a stamp, then reveal a new town and refill it with tokens drawn from a bag—some face-up, some face-down, adding a touch of mystery to your adventure. Complete a traveler's route to return them to your board and gain an Anecdote card—each one unlocks surprising new ways to score points at the end of the game, turning your journey into a personal story. But not every moment goes as planned. Share a location with another traveler or stray from your route, and you'll earn bad experiences that cost you victory points at the final tally. The game ends once every traveler has finished their route. The player with the most points wins, having felt the most warmly embraced (apapachado) by Mexico's folklore, flavors, and friendly spirit.
