Board Game
Peg-A-Word
This Cracker Jack prize is probably the smallest published word board game ever. The contents are a 0.9 inch square plastic board with holes in a 3x3 grid, and attached tiles with a peg on the bottom and a letter on top (one of TIMECARD). The tiles are snipped off before the first play. To play the game, the tiles are mixed up face down. On a turn, each player picks a tile, looks at it, and places it somewhere in the grid. The first player to spell a valid English 3-letter word on the grid in any direction wins. There is also a solitaire game, which invites the player to spell as many 3-letter words as they can think of using the 8 letters provided.
