Darkwise is an apocalyptic horror skirmish game that pits warbands of bounty hunters, cyborgs, monstrous beasts, and other horrible denizens against one another to survive their world's inevitable doom. A focused Campaign system allows warbands to persist and improve (or die) between missions. Use your influence to gather new weapons and gear; train your followers and grant them rare Traits; and roll to see if they are forever maimed by their violent struggle. Build a warband of followers from one of 5 unique factions, each with their own specialties, armaments, and playstyles. Investigate mysterious, random events on the battlefield and reveal that which was once concealed by Darkness. Over 50 pieces of equipment and odd artifacts to bestow upon your haggard warriors. Every Scenario is a race against time. The Murk creeps ever forward, and those who bask too long in its delirious Shadow become undone by it.
