Gallery Gambit
By Robin Stokkel · Art by Julia van Duijn
In Gallery Gambit, players act as rival gallery owners competing over three rounds to curate the most prestigious art collections. The goal is to build three Valid Sets (e.g. consecutive run-in the same suit or cards of the same rank). On a turn, players can optionally discard a card before taking a core action: drafting a card from the shared Market to play into one of their three fixed-capacity Exhibits, playing their hidden Private Collection card, or using a "Gambit" to rearrange their own cards or execute a "Sneaky Trade" with an opponent's incomplete Exhibit. Because a round instantly locks and ends right after one player fills all their Exhibits to capacity, speed is crucial; during scoring, players earn base points for completed Exhibit and compete in "Exhibit Battles" to win extra bonus points for having the superior collection, though any set containing a forgery (a Joker) automatically loses its battle. —description from the publisher
