Kung-Fu Master

In the vast desert, you encounter four like-minded martial arts peers at an inn. After several rounds of drinks, you propose: 'In one’s lifetime, if we do not pursue the pinnacle of martial arts, isn’t it a wasted life? Today, six major martial arts sects are the masters of our world; let’s challenge them and see how strong we truly are.' Excited, your companions eagerly join, and thus begins the legendary quest to become the Kung-Fu Master. Kung-Fu Master (功夫之王) is a 2–4 player American-style adventure game using simultaneous selection as its core mechanism. Players accompany four martial arts masters to challenge other sects, gain prestige, and compete against rival masters. Success depends on strategically using your masters’ unique skills and choosing the right opponents and sects. The game is played over four rounds, where players secretly select masters to challenge locations, defeat sect protectors, and earn prestige tokens. After four rounds, the player with the most points wins. This game is part of the first edition of the 9 Cards series.
