Svarog's Curse

Svarog’s Curse is a competitive, card-driven strategy game inspired by Slavic mythology. Long ago, the celestial blacksmith Svarog forged the three realms, Prav, Yav, and Nav, and kept them in balance. When he abandoned his divine forge, that harmony shattered. Now the gods compete for the empty throne, each choosing a mortal champion to act in their stead. Players take on the role of these chosen disciples, traversing a grid of mystical locations in search of power. As they explore, they uncover hidden cards, claim legendary heroes, wield ancient artifacts, and confront dangerous monsters. Each discovery presents a meaningful choice. Heroes and artifacts grant powerful effects and Might Points, while monsters offer greater rewards at a cost, forcing players to sacrifice their own assets and take on Curse Points. They are used to reduce your opponents’ final scores, adding a direct and strategic way to disrupt rival players. On their turn, players spend action points to move, scout, reveal, and claim cards, gradually shaping their strategy and influence across the board. As the world begins to collapse, the final round is triggered. Players total their Might Points and apply the penalties they have inflicted through Curse Points. The player with the highest final score proves themselves worthy, ascends as the champion of the gods, and determines the fate of the three realms.
