Stack of bars

By Joe J. Jago

Who can create the highest stack of bars and score the most points until the deck of cards is empty? Who manages to stack the highest bars and thus generate the most points? Only those with a good tactic, with a little luck, will defeat their opponent or beat their own high score. All 63 cards are shuffled and placed in the center. In a two-person duel, one card is placed face down to the side. The starting player takes a card from the draw pile in the center and places this card on one of their piles in front of them, according to the rules. If they haven't yet formed a pile, they start by creating their first one. He must always place his bar card on top of a stack with a card of a different metal type on top, thus creating a higher bar stack. A bar of the same type may never be placed on top of the card below it. If he cannot place this card on any of his existing bar stacks, he can start a new stack. Adjacent stacks must, when starting a new stack, also have a top card of a different metal type than the one in the adjacent stack. This only applies to starting a new stack; otherwise, the different metal type only applies to the existing stack being created. —description from the designer
