Operation Red Dawn

With the re-election of President Ronald Reagan in November of 1984, the Soviet Union realizes that they cannot compete with the military spending of the United States. They end their adventure in Afghanistan and turn their eyes westward. They start by sending covert operatives via commercial airlines throughout the United States to prep for their imminent invasion through Canada and down into the American heartland. Along with their Cuban allies who invade northward through Mexico, the communists link up and control the area between the Rockies and the Mississippi, from border to border. Into this abyss, Lieutenant James Clark, United States Army, 7th Special Forces Group, is sent along with his teammates: Sergeant Hill, Corporal Jackson, and Specialist Rivera. Their mission: to disrupt the Russian forces occupying the Midwest town of Springfield and to recruit and train any civilians acting as partisans in the neighboring foothills. You will command the Green Berets and any partisans that join them in this new game from designer Raymond Fiore. Fight as guerillas in the farmlands and backstreets of small-town middle-America.
