Fablepath

Fablepath is an expandable card game (ECG) for two or four players, who compete head-to-head in the age-old struggle between good and evil. Fablepath’s gameplay structure encourages strategy and deck-building, while incorporating story-driven elements for a fully immersive experience. Players will play as either the Forces of Good or Forces of Evil. Players who choose to play the Forces of Good will pilot decks built around Heroes central to the narrative threads of Fablepath. Their objective is to use their Hero and 50-card deck to gain enough Plot Points to progress through each Act’s Setting. The Forces of Good player wins the game by earning enough Plot Points to progress through each of the three Acts. The Forces of Evil’s objective is to leverage their Settings and 50-card deck to slay the Hero. Each Setting has a unique effect, triggered by the Forces of Evil player earning Plot Points. The Forces of Evil player wins the game by slaying the Hero before they can safely earn the final Plot Point of the last Act. —description from the publisher
