FangFrage

FangFrage is a strategic board game about competition, cooperation, and scarce resources. You manage your own fishing operations in a shared marine area – but the catch is limited, the competition is fierce, and every decision has consequences. The game is played over three rounds. The goal is to catch as many fish as possible. In each round, the players decide how many fish they want to catch. The game ends after the seventh fishing season or when there are no more fish left. In the first round, players are not allowed to communicate with each other. In the second round, they can make informal agreements. In the third round, these agreements are formalized by establishing a North Sea Council. Within the North Sea Council, concrete agreements, such as catch quotas, inspections, or penalties, can be negotiated and decided upon. —description from the publisher
