Board Game
Viridia
By Yuval Grinspun · Art by Tithi Luadthong
Build the city of the future as it grows from a small town to a big city. The game is played over a variable number of rounds, determined by when the Achievements are claimed. Players use policy cards to generate resources, plan urban growth, build infrastructure, and attract residents. Each round, players will draw, prioritize, and execute cards from policy cards. These cards can also be turned into laws that improve your action efficiency and boost your future actions. Policy cards and zoning tiles are purchased from a shared market. Blueprint tiles allow players to expand their cities, which may affect their short and long term goals. Whenever players expand their cities, they will be attracting residents. Burgeoning cities generate resources, but also create new management puzzles. —description from the publisher
