Las Ligas de la Ñ: La Gran Guerra

Las Ligas de la Ñ: La Gran Guerra ("The Ñ Leagues: The Great War") is an asymmetrical strategy game for 2 to 8 players, in which each player controls one or more leagues from the Las Ligas de la Ñ universe (Fuego, Cuervo, León, Luna, Cáliz, etc.) on a shared map. The game is played in turns and combines positional control on the board with the management of a common general deck. In this new Ñ game (the thirteenth in the series and the most ambitious to date), players compete to achieve the highest final score by combining points earned through in-game achievements with points awarded according to final position, based on the order in which leagues are eliminated or survive. Each league has its own play style, defeat condition, and unique objectives, allowing it to score in different ways. The game takes place on a map-board where each element of the map represents a space (leagues, monuments, creatures, ships, etc.). Characters enter play from their league’s home space (coat of arms). Movement is carried out by drawing a straight line between spaces, provided no other space interrupts the path. Duels can only occur when two characters occupy the same space. On their turn, a player chooses one main action: play a card, move a character, draw a card from the general deck, or activate a special power. All leagues draw from the same general deck, designed to cover the different approaches to the game (development, conquest, elimination, persuasion, exploration, survival, and events). At certain moments, the Great War event may be triggered, acting as a decisive phase that uses the combined total of the characters’ values to resolve a high-impact confrontation.
