Eqular: Allegiance

Eqular: Allegiance is a strategy board game for 2-6 players centered on worker placement and colony development in a competitive, faction-driven science fiction setting. Set during a conflict between two major galactic powers, the United Galactic Alliance and the Directorate, players represent one of these factions or a powerful neutral faction seeking to establish dominance on a newly colonized planet in neutral territory. The game is played over a series of rounds and phases. During delegate phases, players assign workers to shared action spaces, with multiple players able to occupy the same location and divide the resulting benefits. Colony management phases then allow players to produce resources, support population growth, and expand their colonies on a 16×16 grid-based board. The game ends after the 16th round or when a player reaches the maximum population limit. Players earn Victory Points by constructing specific buildings, acquiring Neurostone, achieving milestone-based Titles, and collecting Victory Point chits through various in-game effects. —description from the publisher
