18xx set on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea off of Sweden´s east coast. 3 to 5 players invest in and manage a total of 10 railway companies with the ultimate goal of becoming the wealthiest investor. Questionable stock manipulation, fierce rusting of trains AND tracks, and existential dread is ever present - all while laying rail on an island so small you can see your bad decisions from the other side.
