This game covers the advance of Archer’s and Davis’ Brigades along the Chambersburg Pike into the 8th Illinois Cavalry. Scale: Company. Little Round Top: At the extreme left of the Union Left Flank, this position was vital. One of the most famous incidents of the American Civil War is portrayed in this game: the desperate downhill charge made by the 20th Maine to finally drive back the Confederate advance. Scale: Company. Culp’s Hill: After drawing away units to deal with Longstreet’s main attack, the Union defense of Culp’s Hill was weakened. This game focuses on the Confederate attack against a single brigade protected by hastily constructed defensive works. Can the Federal defenders hold on until reinforcements arrive? Scale: Regiment. East Cavalry Field: Stuart vs Custer! This battle recreates Custer leading the 7th Michigan in a counter-attack. Scale: Company. Pickett’s Charge: This battle covers the furthest advance made by the Confederate General Lewis Armistead on July 3 during Pickett’s Charge at a place that came to be known as “the angle”, referring to a bend in the wall Union soldiers sheltered behind. For a moment the Union line was broken, but Armistead was unable to turn the captured artillery back on the Federal forces and reinforcements quickly arrived, driving the Rebels back.
