Inelul Timpului

Inelul Timpului is an immersive educational board game developed by the Cu Alte Cuvinte Foundation, specifically designed to bring Romany history and culture to the forefront. Developed with the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN), the game serves as a bridge between generations, offering a nuanced perspective on the heritage and contributions of the Romany community. Designed to foster empathy and fight stereotypes, players are invited to travel through time, discovering key historical figures, cultural milestones, and the vibrant traditions of the Romany people. It is more than just a game; it is a tool for social inclusion and representative education. In Inelul Timpului, players navigate different historical eras, encountering diverse personalities and pivotal moments. The game blends history with strategic movement, requiring players to became CUAC ambassadors as a team and travel on the map to place embassies, while eliminating existing threats. Players will win if they clear all existing threats or reach the end of the Timeline Track. The first of its kind to focus specifically on the rich and often-overlooked history of the Romany community, was created to be delivered to 800 Romanian schools as a game based learning experience. —description from the designer
