ParuParo

ParuParo (パロパロ) is a memory game in which two players try to collect butterflies and line them up in a common 6x6 grid made of 9 2x2 cards. On their turn, the players must collect butterfly wings from a pool and try to match two wings of the same colour and of opposite orientations to create a full butterfly. However, the cards are double-sided and the back has a differently coloured wing that the front. The players have to turn the cards around when collecting them, so they must remember what colours are on the back of the cards in the pool. When they successfully match cards and create a butterfly, they must place a token on the 6x6 grid on a matching butterfly. The first one to align 4 butterflies or to place 4 tokens on the same card wins!
