Death Game Experiment
By shinzo
You are a retired tycoon. On a whim, you agreed to take part in a psychology experiment about “the ability to detect lies,” but you and another participant were deceived and made to drink a lethal dose of poison! Experimenter: “To survive, you must continue the experiment and obtain a sufficient amount of antidote… Will you proceed?” At the end of the game, the player who has more antidotes than the opponent survives and wins. Antidotes are obtained through five rounds of bidding. In each round, players first decide the actual amount they will bid, and then declare their bid amount. The player who declares the higher amount gains an antidote. However, players may declare an amount different from their real bid—lying is allowed. If the lie is not detected, the bid stands. Instead of bidding money, a player may also conceal a Gun card to destroy the opponent’s antidotes. Use the effects of the adrenaline administered by the experimenter to push the bidding in your favor and fight for survival. This is a DEATH GAME. You’ll enjoy it even more if you play as though you’ve truly swallowed a lethal dose of poison. —description from the designer
