Kan-Kan

In a square grid board (it can be 12x12 or 18x18) 2 players put black and white pieces in the center of each square in any square of the board just like in Gomoku or Go. The goal of the game is to make a square of 2x2 pieces, the first one that manages to do so wins the game. But if no one manages to build the square the winner of the game is the one with the biggest group of pieces connected orthogonally. —description from the designer
