AlGame

AlGame invites players to dive into the wonders of the Mediterranean Sea and build their own marine ecosystem, card by card. Each turn, players expand their section of sea by connecting new environment cards - from rocky shores and seagrass meadows to sandy bottoms and open waters - and populate them with marine species. Some of these species are algae, key organisms for the health of the sea. Placing them strategically allows players to unlock special Algalab bonuses: Cultivation and Restoration, rewarding those who manage to rebuild thriving underwater habitats. But not all is calm beneath the waves: environmental threats such as pollution and climate change can alter or damage your ecosystem, forcing players to adapt their strategies. Over three rounds, players balance biodiversity, risk, and opportunity in a race to create the most complete and resilient marine ecosystem. Combining environmental awareness with tactical gameplay, AlGame blends learning and fun in a push-your-luck challenge set in the blue heart of the sea. —description from the designer
