March of Empires: Time of War is a fast-paced strategy game that pits 2 to 4 players against each other in a high-stakes battle for supremacy. Command your Faction—be it a noble King, a proud Tsar, an ambitious Sultan, or a disciplined Shogun—and lead your people to glory. With a unique hourglass-based system representing each player’s orders, the game demands both quick thinking and bold strategy. Throughout the game, you will place Hourglasses to issue commands: construct buildings, gather resources, train units, or move armies across the map. The timing of your actions is crucial, as your opponents can exploit every hesitation or strike before your plans unfold. Once battle ensues, tactics take center stage. Players select Combat cards and resolve clashes based on initiative and dice rolls, with unit composition and chosen strategies determining the outcome. Each victory brings you closer to dominance—whether by achieving scenario objectives or seizing control of your rival’s Castle.
