Antscape
By Paul Gigengack · Art by Lena Lackmann
In Antscape, players represent competing ant colonies trying to expand their territory in a shared landscape. The goal is to claim as many valuable areas as possible, recruit new ants, and use the queen wisely to score points! How does it work? Each turn follows three simple steps: Take an action (optional) Choose to either claim a region or recruit an ant Refill your hand to four cards Areas are claimed by playing the right combination of cards, while recruiting ants grants access to stronger cards and more options in later turns. As the game progresses, the conquered areas together form a colony, contributing to the final score. Bonus cards add unique twists and strategies, while each player’s special terrain-shift card lets you reshape the landscape to your advantage — creating rich tactical choices every game The game ends once all areas have been claimed or when the queen areas remain unused. When the dust settles, the colony with the highest total score wins! —description from the publisher
