Arctic Wolves: Operation Wunderland, 1942

Arctic Wolves covers the German air and naval Operation Wunderland in the summer months in the arctic to intercept and destroy Allied supplies going to Russia from the Barents Straits and convoy PQ-18 to Murmansk. German intel had received information that 70,000 tons would be arriving on Russian transports via the Vilkitsky Straits. The Germans had available the Hipper, Scheer, Koln and six submarines to conduct the mission in the Arctic. The CV Zeppelin was nearly completed as well. The Allied lend lease program to Murmansk was in full swing as Operation Wunderland began and PQ-18 with British and American carriers were escorts. Optional rules include the use of the German CV Zeppelin. Game scale is turns are two days, 45 mile\hex, naval units are a single ship, aircraft are squadrons.
