How do you destroy something that cannot be destroyed? With kindness. A fast, funny party card game about indestructible tardigrades. Tardigrades Are Forever is a fast, funny party card game where you win by lining up four Personal Apocalypse cards in front of you. In Tardigrades Are Forever, bad things are good, good things are terrible, and kindness is the most dangerous weapon of all. The first player to complete their row of four Personal Apocalypse cards wins. But look out, because your enemy tardigrades will be prolonging your tiny life by way of love-bombs made from Toxic Positivity. Players take turns drawing 3 cards, then distributing all those cards: always one for you, always one for an opponent, and always one to the discard pile. OR, instead of distributing your cards, you may choose to use your drawn cards on your turn to combine multiple Meh cards to trigger powerful effects and ruin somebody else’s plans. One More Cruel Detail: Whatever card is left on top of the discard pile is available to the next player as one of their 3 drawn cards. So even the card you throw away could be exactly what somebody else needs. There is no hand of cards to hold. Every turn gives you three cards, a table full of targets and a series of choices that are bound to annoy someone - possibly yourself. Personal Apocalypse These are the cards you want. Play them on yourself. Line up four. Win the game. Simple. Toxic Positivity These are the cards you play on everyone else to block their Personal Apocalypse. They slow their progress, fill their life with unwanted hope and force them to deal with the emotional burden of being cared for. So technically, it is a game about friendship. Meh Sometimes, the most powerful response to the universe is simply: Meh. On its own, a Meh card is useless. But collect and combine enough of them and they let you shift the game in your favour: dump, steal, and create the kind of sudden swing that makes the whole table shout at you.
