By Adrian Mandzy, Tod Kershner · Art by Giuseppe Rava
War in the Age of Pericles was designed for the numerous small battles that took place in the Mediterranean Basin, these rules focus on providing a few hours of fun and entertainment. The game mechanics are straightforward but contain enough nuances to be stimulating. The Hand of Fate cards (available separately), provide an additional level of unpredictability. Designed for 28mm but can be played for a variety of scales. Hoplites units are 16 figures strong, skirmish units usually are 8 figures. This 24 page rulebook includes 12 individual army list, including: Athens, Carthage, Celts, Corinth, Egypt, Etruscans, Persia, Rome, Scythia, Sparta, Syracuse, and Thebes. —description from the publisher
