Here, critters craft wonders from the earth, forging bonds and burrows in the shimmering dark. In Glimmerdeep, you lead a small faction of animals that thrive underground. You have just found a new home and it is time to expand and build your subterranean civilization. You must efficiently leverage your unique faction capabilities to excavate tunnels, gather resources, and construct workshops to enhance your society. Can you become the most successful subterranean society? Glimmerdeep is an engine-building game that is played over 5 rounds. Each round, players will excavate spaces across their map to gather resources and clear space for new buildings, construct workshops and forges, and run their workshops and forges for various benefits. At the end of the 5th round, the player with the most Victory Points (VP) is the winner. Players will gain VP by constructing Workshops and Forges, running their Workshops and Forges, completing the unique Map Objective, leveraging their faction’s unique Calling, and for any unspent resources. —description from the publisher
