Heroes of Drunkenfay

Heroes of Drunkenfay is a light fantasy card game with a heavy dose of interaction. Track down monsters, collect loot, steal from your opponents, and develop your hero to achieve victory in a world where a rich purse is more important than heroic songs. Each turn consists of several steps: Track – Rolling the dice earns track points, which players use to place their track markers on monsters. It's a race – if you're the first to place three of your track markers on a creature, you must attack it. Combat – Choose a weapon, roll the dice, and try to damage the creature. Other players who have also placed a track can participate and help… or hinder, by playing action cards and traps. Rewards and Consequences – For victory, the heroes share the spoils, but anyone facing the beast must also expect a counterattack. City and Shopping – After the fight, you can rest, earn coins, or buy new equipment from the market, preparing for your next expedition. Planning – Draw new action cards that give you an advantage in subsequent turns. The game unfolds in two stages – first, heroes face weaker monsters and basic equipment, then move on to stronger creatures and more powerful items. The game ends when a sufficient number of Level II monsters have been defeated, at which point the player with the most wealth wins. —description from the publisher
