Board Game
Das verhexte Auto
By Heinz Wittenberg · Art by Susa Schlieper
The starting position and final destination for all players is the zebra crossing, which a boy is walking across. Players each choose a car and take turns rolling the dice; the player with the highest number starts. They move their car according to the number rolled, followed by the other players in a clockwise direction. If a player stops on a blue space, they must get into a bewitched car. To do this, they take the top car card from the stack. As long as the player is in the bewitched car, they only move on the blue spaces and therefore advance very quickly. However, if they cannot get out in time before the finish, they drive past the finish and must start a new round. The car card has a number on it; when it's their turn and they roll this number, they may get out again. They then place their car on the white space behind the last blue space counted. They place the car card back at the bottom of the stack. The winner is the player who reaches the zebra crossing first. The players can agree whether the square must be reached exactly, or whether it is sufficient if a player moves across the zebra crossing while moving on the white squares. —user summary
