Board Game
Out of Words
By Mike Davis (IV), Scott Brady
Out of Words is a cooperative game in which the whole group tries to achieve the best score possible. Each round, one player has to get the others to guess a specific word using as few words as possible. Clues consist of single words, and each clue must start with a letter from a 5x5 grid. If the group doesn’t guess the correct word, another clue may be given – up to five in total. Once the word has been guessed correctly, or after the fifth clue without success, all letters used from the grid are removed. The game ends once the grid is completely empty. Players then count the number of words they successfully guessed. In addition to this basic mode, Out of Words also includes a couple of extra challenges for ambitious groups. —description from the publisher
